Well written, and if I may, I’d like to add that this is a prime example of what happens when couples don’t abide by the following two rules:

1 — the man must *never* stop courting the woman, even when they are already old, and

2 — the woman must *never* allow the man to stop courting her.

All too often, once a couple is wed the man thinks he doesn’t have to court her anymore…and the woman, once she sees his lack of effort, thinks “oh, he loves me — he married me and sooner or later he’ll start courting me again”.

Follow the above two rules, and your marriage will be much more likely to succeed.
