We had plenty of landing craft in 1943 — a lot of them were already being used in the Pacific. We had air and naval superiority in 1943, as well. And you might want to do a bit more research on Soviet armaments production. Relatively little of our Lend-Lease supplies had reached them before they had already thrown the Wehrmacht back from Moscow. The aircraft and tanks we sent were effectively substandard. The things we sent that really helped were trucks, jeeps, and food.
In other words, the millions of tons of aid we sent to the Soviets certainly helped, but the decisive action was their transport of thousands of factories back to the Urals. They simply outproduced the Germans.
Lastly, the buildup of our forces in southern England did not *require* two years, for it did not include all the manpower and materiel we sent to invade northern Africa, Sicily, Italy, and southern France. Bearing this in mind, it is obvious that we could have built up our forces in southern England much faster if we’d chosen to do so.
