Such recommendations are simply that: recommendations. Toothless…and worse than useless.

Please don’t misunderstand me — I want to be wrong. I’d dearly love to be wrong, because the sooner our nation gets back to work, the better. And I will happily admit there’s a significant possibility that I am wrong, that GA’s gamble turns out to be justified.

But if I’m right, y’all are going to be forced into a second shutdown, and that will make it worse than if y’all had just waited a few more weeks like the medical community recommends, because a second shutdown would last nearly as long as this one…and it would have been completely unnecessary except for the dogmatic refusal of the Right to listen to experts.
