Really? So we should just treat COVID-19 no more seriously than we do the flu?

How about looking up the stats for New York City. How many people have died of the flu there in the past two months, compared to the 15K or so that have died from COVID-19 in the same period? Did the seasonal flu pack the emergency rooms, the ICU’s, and even the hallways of the hospitals? Did the flu result in hospitals having to rent refrigerated trucks as temporary morgues?

But that’s what happens when COVID-19 is allowed to spread unchecked when there is NO vaccine presently available. That’s also what will likely happen to quite a few cities in red states where they are demanding that it’s better to let a few people die so others can get their hair and nails done.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the doctors and scientists instead of those who tell you to ignore people with PhD’s.
