Please feel free to point out the last time that influenza resulted in hospitals statewide running out of ICU beds, or in hospitals being forced to rent refrigerated trailers to act as overflow for morgues.
What's more, you're pooh-poohing the total fatalities, never seeming to grasp the fact that the 132,000 is the number of fatalities for ONE-THIRD of a year...and that's WITH modern medicine and social distancing.
I didn't mention your level of education, nor do I believe it or disbelieve it - there's insufficient evidence concerning any degrees you may have. However, your grammar needs work. That doesn't mean you aren't a PhD, for I've seen some whose English could use some improvement. What's more, English may not be your native language, which in my opinion would speak well of you.
I learned a long, long time ago to neither brag on my own level of intelligence nor make insulting assumptions about the intelligence of others (though I hypocritically ignore that lesson when it comes to Trump - he is *stupid*). What I mean is this: a person may be highly intelligent in some areas, and woefully deficient in others...and said deficiency may well be a result of cognitive dissonance.
Lastly, I used to be strongly conservative. Then at a certain point, I began demanding the same degree of fact and accuracy from both sides...and it was my Republican party that was found wanting. I recommend that you do the same, that you demand the same degree of fact and accuracy from every side. But beware, for that's what forced me to walk away from the GOP.
