Our invasion of Iraq was illegal and unwarranted - I've said many times it was by definition a war crime.

Afghanistan, on the other hand, was called for. The Taliban had Usama bin Laden and refused to hand him over after the 9/11 attack on our nation.

But you're wrong about how we tried to rebuild both Iraq and Afghanistan - we sank hundreds of billions of dollars into rebuilding each...though most of it wound up being wasted in local corruption.
