One wonders what your opinion would have been had the sitting president been a Democrat who riled up the crowd before it marched on the Capitol, and sat watching it on television, ignoring frantic calls and messages and tweets to end what was happening.

I strongly suspect your opinion would not only have been wildly different, but even while calling for the insurrectionists’ heads on spikes, you’d swear up and down that you’d say the same thing if it were right-wingers instead.
