One more thing - I think it would be accurate to say that China will *never* accept immigration to the extent needed, much less to the degree that we do.
Racism is viewed differently in Asia than in the West. In Asia, it is seen as more normal, more accepted as 'just the way things are'. I'm sure you've read of the challenges that non-Japanese face in Japan. Read about how Naomi Osaka was called racist by the Japanese for the simple act of saying that racism exists in Japan:
I assure you that it's little different in China (and to a significantly lesser extent in S. Korea). But I will say the other nations of Asia, being less wealthy, are generally not so unwelcoming.
In any case, those who are white like myself aren't so quickly rejected by society there, but those who are Black or Brown face much more resistance. The only reason we don't hear about it is because - as the above link shows - it's considered deeply offensive to even claim it exists, much less complain about it to government officials or to the media.
