On the part of White women, it’s almost a mass case of cognitive dissonance. Look at the recent movie “Bombshell” wherein the story of three white women (all three of whom met the apparent Fox standard of being blond and either one-time beauty contestants or could have passed for such) who faced rampant sexism at Fox News. Sure, they faced sexual harassment and even assault by the more powerful men at Fox, but were they ever held accountable for their public defense of racist and sexist conduct by Republican politicians?

And thanks for that story about Adele — I didn’t know about that at all, and that’s certainly a hopeful sign.
