I’ve long made a practice of being sincerely grateful towards anyone who could prove me wrong, for whoever has done so has removed a bit of my ignorance.

Yes, I recognize that there is a great deal that I have yet to learn, and I hope to learn from you as well. Yes, you may prove to me that what I believe is wrong, and if you do so, I will be grateful to you. But conversely, will you be able to accept my own arguments in return? We’ll see.
