My argument is that like Russia, China would try to beat Taiwan into submission with swarms of missiles, but that *unlike* Russia, China’s missiles would seem almost endless. China would be able to establish air supremacy, which Russia has yet to do.
Also, unlike Ukraine, there are no easy routes of logistic support - everything must come by sea or air.
Lastly - and again - China is not Russia. We underestimate them militarily at out peril. For instance, our Navy is far superior to theirs, but they can focus the whole of theirs in that region at a time of their choosing. We cannot do so. (On a side note, that’s largely why our ships did well against the far more powerful Brits in the War of 1812).
Don’t misunderstand - I’d dearly love to be wrong. I am *no* fan of the CCP. I’d love for you to be right. But that’s not where my observations lead.
