I'm sure all the technologically-advanced powers will try to do precisely that, but it's every bit as certain drone tech will take that into account. Electronic warfare is a black art, and it would be a mistake to assume the major powers would automatically be able to jam the other side's drones. What's more, if a drone is in standalone mode - neither transmitting nor receiving, but is programmed to loiter over a certain area until it gets low on fuel or its ordnance is expended - then EW is even less effective against them.

And while sabot rounds can't be jammed, the comms of tanks most certainly can be jammed. When the tanks can't coordinate with each other or with higher levels of command, the effectiveness of the entire unit is degraded.
