I’m not sure there’s anyone alive who understands all the interconnected problems in the Middle East. Even more importantly, there are no innocents among the rulers there. I am strongly against the far-right Zionist regime in Israel, for they have shown great cruelty towards the Palestinians.

(For others who may read this reply, remember that Zionism is *not* representative of Judaism, but may be likened to the far-right evangelicals in America who claim to be Christian, but regularly ignore Biblical teachings.)

I will be the first to say that America and the U.K. created much of today’s problems in the ME, and we’ve only ourselves to blame for the lasting hatred. Our invasion of Iraq was an illegal and unwarranted war crime, as was the CIA’s overthrow of the democratically-elected government in Iran in the 1950’s. There is much more, but that’s enough for now.
