Good points all, but I would add that while a Bayraktar is large and too visible and thus easily targeted, most drones are significantly smaller and much harder to target...especially if they're not lighting up infrared sensors with jet propulsion.

What's more, if there is a direct conflict between major powers, I suspect our own drones might be harder to target than Turkey's.
