Even though I grew up out in the boonies, I never really went hunting - but if we were really hungry, I surely would.

But I admit I never really got the sense of excitement a lot of other guys did about guns. I mean, sure, they can be fun, but so can a hammer or a hatchet. Fencing was much more fun to me than firearms ever were. Maybe I just felt the responsibility more, that if I screwed up, an innocent person might get hurt. And we don't have any in the household today - I'm not scared of firearms, but I really don't want my too-curious grandkids to find them.
