COVID-19 struck here *first*, yet Washington state has had one of the best responses to the pandemic - we had the sixth-LOWEST rate of COVID positive tests in the nation. It was our state government, led by Jay Inslee, that made it happen. The other respondents should bear that in mind before they break out the pitchforks and torches.

Of course, if they want, they can move to Texas or Florida so they can experience the "freedom" of who-gives-a-damn-if-thousands-more-people-die as long as people can congregate at a bar at night.
