Congratulations on finishing university. I had to stop three classes short of my BSCS degree (this was before online learning was available). That's one of the few regrets I have in this life.

But you know what? Just because you see professors with what is in your opinion left-wing bias, that doesn't mean that this is a new thing. One of my points in the prior response was that this has been the case in most nations for centuries. This was the case *before* Marx and Engels, btw. In fact, the question is worth asking: why is it that colleges and universities have historically strongly tilted to the left?

Also, I suspect you'll find that over the past few years, there have been more violent right-wing attacks here in America than Muslim attacks in France.

As for the immigrants, they're not coming here because of "economic innovation" and "technological achievements", much less "legal theories" and our "political system". I'm deeply involved with the immigrant community (my own wife used to be an undocumented immigrant until the Reagan amnesty) and I've never, ever heard any of them give one of the factors you listed as a reason for coming to America.

In the almost all instances (legal *and* undocumented), they come out of sheer pragmatism, with the perception that they and their children can be safe here and can prosper here, and they will be able to send money to help the family back in their home countries.

If life were nearly as prosperous in their own countries, they would not emigrate to America. This was made plain by the fact that the only time in living memory that we've had *negative* immigration - more leaving than coming (including 'illegals') - was during the Great Recession...because that recession affected the developed nations much more deeply than the 3W nations. Of the 3W immigrants I've known and asked about the matter (and yes, I did ask), every single one of them said that there had been no "great recession" in their home nations.

In other words, if you want to really cut down on illegal immigration, there's only two ways: (1) to make our nation nearly as bad off as theirs, or (2) help their nations to become nearly as well off as our own. Otherwise, they will always come.

Bringing one's family from danger and grinding poverty to a place of safety and prosperity is basic human nature...and as such cannot be regulated away. No wall, no legislation, no jackbooted regulation will stop them, not as long as our nation is much safer and much more prosperous than their own. Anyone who thinks otherwise has a lot to learn about basic human nature.
